Calamnet currently uses Cloudflare Web Analytics for privacy-focused traffic and performance metrics and Google Analytics 4 for aggregated website usage analytics and feature insights.

Analytics information is used to improve Calamnet and understand how visitors use the site. Calamnet does not sell personal information or use analytics for cross-site behavioral advertising.

C. Server and Infrastructure Logs

Calamnet is hosted on Cloudflare. Like most web infrastructure providers, Cloudflare may process basic request data such as:

  • Security and abuse-prevention signals

This information is used for security, performance optimization, abuse prevention, debugging, and service reliability.

Information collected through Calamnet may be used to:

3. Authentication & Accounts

Calamnet provides user accounts to access dashboard features, usage tracking, transcription history, billing features, subscriptions, credit balances, and premium tools.

Authentication is handled by Supabase, which manages login sessions and credentials.

Certain Calamnet tools allow users to upload, create, edit, process, or generate content.

Depending on the tool being used, this may include:

  • Generated AI content
  • Transcripts
  • Captions or subtitles
  • Edited versions
  • Exported files

Calamnet may also store operational information such as:

  • Job status
  • Processing timestamps

  • Credit usage

  • Processing metadata
  • Error messages related to failed processing jobs

This information is used to provide the requested functionality, improve reliability, support account history, restore previous work when applicable, and troubleshoot processing issues.

5. AI Processing

Some Calamnet tools use artificial intelligence providers to process user-submitted content.

Depending on the selected tool and processing mode, submitted content may be securely transmitted to third-party AI providers solely to perform the requested service.

Current AI providers may include:

  • OpenAI
  • AssemblyAI

Development environments may also use locally hosted AI models for testing purposes. Content submitted for AI processing is not used by Calamnet for advertising purposes.

6. Payments & Billing

Payments for credits or subscriptions are processed securely through Stripe. Calamnet does not store full payment card numbers.

Calamnet may store billing-related records necessary to operate paid features, including:

  • Stripe customer identifiers
  • Purchase history
  • Subscription status
  • Invoice or receipt references
  • Credit purchase history
  • Payment status and billing event metadata

Stripe may collect and process billing information in accordance with its own privacy policy.

7. Cookies & Browser Storage

Calamnet does not use tracking cookies for third-party advertising. However, cookies or browser storage may be used for authentication, security, analytics, preferences, and operation of site features.

  • Supabase may use browser storage or cookies to maintain login sessions.
  • Cloudflare may use essential cookies for security and performance.
  • Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies depending on browser settings and applicable consent requirements.

8. Data Retention

Different tools retain uploaded content and generated outputs for different periods depending on the functionality being provided.

  • Contact form submissions may be retained for correspondence history.
  • Feedback submissions may be retained to improve site tools.
  • Analytics data may be retained by analytics providers according to their own policies.
  • Account history may be retained while an account remains active.
  • Billing records may be retained as needed for accounting, fraud prevention, legal obligations, and financial recordkeeping.
  • Temporary processing data may be periodically removed according to automated retention schedules.

You may request deletion of personal information you have submitted by contacting us. Some records may need to be retained where required for security, legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes.

Calamnet uses trusted third-party infrastructure providers to operate the platform. These providers may process or store information necessary to deliver requested services.

Current infrastructure providers include:

  • Cloudflare for hosting, CDN, Workers, R2 storage, security, and analytics
  • Supabase for authentication and database services
  • Stripe for payments and subscriptions
  • Google Analytics for website usage analytics
  • OpenAI for AI processing where applicable
  • AssemblyAI for speech-to-text processing where applicable

These providers maintain their own privacy policies and security practices.

10. Third-Party Services

Third-party services used by Calamnet operate under their own privacy policies. Depending on how you use Calamnet, your information may be processed by one or more of the providers listed above.

Calamnet uses these services only as needed to provide hosting, security, authentication, analytics, storage, billing, AI processing, and related platform functionality.

11. GDPR & International Users

If you are located in the European Union or another region with data protection laws, you may have rights to request access to personal data we hold about you, request correction or deletion, object to certain processing, or request restriction of processing.
